About Us

FunkNaughty are Adam Metusa and Sid Canaga, two DJs and aspiring music producers from London, who joined the digital DJ world back in 2005. Between them they have over 30 years of DJing experience, both learning the art of DJing on the legendary Technic 1210′s. Adam & Sid have DJed and promoted nights at many of London’s top clubs and bars, including the legendary Turnmills and Ministry Of Sound.

Adam & Sid set up FunkNaughty.com in 2010 as response to the lack of websites focusing on both digital DJing and computer music production. Shortly aferwards they collaborated with Danny Rampling on his book “Everything You Need To Know About DJing & Success, writing the digital dj section.

In 2011 Adam and Sid set up the FunkNaughty DJ Workshop which takes place every August bank holiday at London’s No. 1 dance festival South West Four. 5 years on and the DJ Workshop is bigger and better than ever before. Allowing festival goers a chance to check out and play on the latest digital dj equipment, whilst enjoying the festival.

2016 has seen the next step in the FunkNaugty journey with the launch of the Tech Underground. A mix podcast, hosted by Adam and Sid showcasing some of the best underground dance music.
